Community Involvement

We don't just invest in the success of our customers we invest in the success of our community.



JW Designs is both proud, and honored, to be involved in the Myrtle Beach & Carolina Forest community, from sponsoring events, setting up fundraisers, to offering many charities & non-profits free web design & marketing services to help bring awareness to their worthy causes. We are a firm believer that our talents and gifts come from God, and that we're called to use those talents and gifts to serve and help others. So whether it's building the community, helping a family, sponsoring a charitable events, or inspiring youth, we've made community involvement a long-standing corporate objective.

We also love working and partnering with other small businesses who want to improve the communities where we all live and work, and we encourages all businesses throughout the area to get involved and make a difference in the lives of others. Below is a brief break down of how we're involved in Horry County.

We provide donations to charities or families in need, and also reach out to our large client base to businesses that are also dedicated to helping those in need.




Charities & Causes We Support

JW Designs is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we serve. Although there are hundreds, if not thousands of charities in Horry County that serve worthwhile causes, below are a few examples of our involvement and we encourage you, or your small business, to read more about these organizations and how you can help. Giving back is a given at JW Designs. Volunteerings, donating and being an engaged neighbor are among our dominant personality traits. Some of the local causes and organizations we work with include:


Josh Kleman

Josh is a traumatic brain injury survivor who is being cared for at home by his father, mother and brother.

Fierce Fallon

Fallon was diagnosed with brain cancer. Her prognosis is grim. Her family is doing everything to help her through her fight.

Wesley Baker

Wesley Baker, senior at Conway High School, was struck by a truck& suffered brain damage & other injuries.

Heather Elvis

Heather Elvis went missing December 17th, 2013 in Myrtle Beach, SC. As of 2017, Heather is still missing.

Windsor Green Fire

A small brush fire in Carolina Forest quickly got out of control and destroyed 26 buildings, displacing some 200+ families.

GCSO Dep. Matuskovic

Deputy Matuskovic was shot & killed as he and other deputies responded to a disturbance call at an apartment in Charleston.

Law Enforcement

Having worked in law enforcement, we understand the tough job & the threats they face everyday.

Veterans

Our military veterans are our heroes. We support Warrior Charter Fishing, as proceeds go to Veterans with PTSD.

Small Businesses

As the heart of the economy, we've always been huge supporter of other local small businesses.

Carolina Forest

We love to network with our CF neighbors. We also support 'Beautify Carolina Forest' organization & the CFCA.

SC FOP

FOP Lodge 12 is an active Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police, based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

SC Polar Plunge

In SC, thousands of intellectually disabled benefit from the opportunity to participate in Special Olympics.

Non Profits & Churches

We are happy to haver provided numerous discounted & free web design services to 501c non-profits & churches.

Umpqua College

The Umpqua Community College shooting occurred on October 1, 2015, at the UCC campus killing 10 people.

FAPD Ofc. Alia

Forest Acres Police Officer Greg Alia was shot & killed in the line of duty, leaving behind a wife and infant daughter.
